AAIM is a Resource to Individuals with Autism

A chiropractor and expert in applied kinesiology, Dr. Timothy D. Francis possesses over 30 years’ experience in his field. Dr. Timothy D. Francis has been a fellow with the American Association of Integrative Medicine (AAIM) since 2013.

AAIM is committed to the development of integrative medicine. It actively seeks to promote credentialing programs and continuing education in addition to supporting the development and implementation of new approaches to complementary care. The association supports a variety of causes through its participation in various conventions and conferences. In May 2016, it attended the Autism One conference in Chicago.

Held at the Loews Chicago O’Hare hotel, the 2016 Autism One conference sought to provide education and support to caretakers of individuals with autism. The keynote address was given by Edwin Black, author of the bestselling book American Eugenics: From Long Island to Auschwitz. Also featured were numerous speakers and seminars, as well as a screening of the movie Vaxxed: From Cover-Up to Catastrophe. Attendees had several networking opportunities including an evening gala event and a karaoke night.

With 30-95 percent of patients with autism receiving alternative medical treatments, integrative medicine is a widely used approach to treating autism. Some commonly used therapies include casein- and/or gluten-free diets, nutritional supplements. Dr. Francis has cured four autistic children in his career utilizing his unique approach to homeopathy.
